- Develop and implement quality strategies and processes for our eMobility products, in alignment with the overall company goals and objectives.
- Lead and oversee a team of quality engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify any potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in eMobility and quality management, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure their adherence to our quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback and product performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on quality-related topics, providing guidance and training to other team members and stakeholders.
- Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization, promoting a proactive and preventive approach to quality management.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and execute the company's sustainability strategy, ensuring that quality and sustainability are integrated into all aspects of our eMobility products.
Extensive Experience In Product Quality Management: A Senior Product Quality Leader At Volvo Group Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Product Quality Management, Preferably In The Emobility Sector. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Product Quality Processes And Driving Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
Strong Technical Background: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Technical Background And Be Well-Versed In Electrical Engineering, Battery Technology, And Vehicle Systems. This Knowledge Will Enable Them To Effectively Evaluate And Address Quality Issues During The Development And Production Stages.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Product Quality Leader, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills. They Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Trends, And Develop Effective Solutions To Improve Product Quality And Reliability.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Demonstrated Experience In Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams. They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members To Achieve Common Quality Goals.
Quality Management Certifications: A Senior Product Quality Leader At Volvo Group Should Have Relevant Quality Management Certifications Such As Six Sigma, Lean, Or Iso 9001. These Certifications Demonstrate The Candidate's Commitment To Quality And Their Ability To Implement And Maintain Quality Processes Within The Organization.
