  1. Lead the development of traction systems for Volvo Group's vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the strategic direction for the company's traction systems.
  3. Utilize your deep understanding of the automotive industry and market trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the company's traction systems.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry partners.
  5. Manage and develop a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth.
  6. Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to traction systems, and incorporate them into the company's strategies.
  7. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for all traction systems developed by the company.
  8. Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
  9. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to understand customer needs and incorporate them into the development of traction systems.
  10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, showcasing our innovative traction systems.
  11. Work closely with Volvo Group's leadership team to align the company's traction system strategies with overall business goals.
  12. Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  13. Develop and manage budgets for the traction systems function.
  14. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and understanding of the company's traction system strategies and goals.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the company's traction systems, making adjustments and improvements as needed to drive success.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Traction Systems: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Designing, Developing, And Testing Traction Systems For Heavy-Duty Vehicles.
