- Lead the development of traction systems for Volvo Group's vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the strategic direction for the company's traction systems.
- Utilize your deep understanding of the automotive industry and market trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the company's traction systems.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry partners.
- Manage and develop a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth.
- Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to traction systems, and incorporate them into the company's strategies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for all traction systems developed by the company.
- Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to understand customer needs and incorporate them into the development of traction systems.

Extensive Experience In Traction Systems: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Designing, Developing, And Testing Traction Systems For Heavy-Duty Vehicles. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Traction Technologies And Their Application In Different Vehicle Types.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Senior Function Owner, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Engineers And Technicians. They Should Have Proven Experience In Managing And Developing A High-Performing Team, Setting Clear Goals And Expectations, And Providing Feedback And Guidance To Team Members.
