- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all relevant regulations and standards for complex engineering systems.
- Oversee the certification and compliance processes for our products, including leading the preparation and submission of necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all necessary requirements are met throughout the entire product development process.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential compliance issues, providing recommendations for mitigation and resolution.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our certification and compliance processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members regarding certification and compliance requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in regulations, proactively communicating potential impacts to the organization.
- Communicate effectively with external regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and successful completion of certification and compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all certification and compliance activities, including documentation and test results.
- Represent the organization in meetings and events related to certification and compliance, promoting our commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Extensive Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: A Senior Certification And Compliance Engineer At Volvo Group Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Vehicle Safety, Emissions, And Environmental Impact. This Includes Knowledge Of International Standards Such As Iso, As Well As Regional Regulations In The Markets Where Volvo Group Operates.
Experience In Certification Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience In Managing And Completing Certification Processes For New Products. This Includes Coordinating With Regulatory Bodies, Conducting Necessary Tests, And Ensuring Compliance With All Requirements.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Certification And Compliance Engineer, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Identifying Potential Compliance Issues And Finding Solutions To Address Them. Therefore, Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.
