  1. Develop and implement secure software development processes and procedures for all digital products and services.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the DevOps lifecycle.
  3. Conduct regular security assessments and reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
  4. Design and implement automated security testing and code analysis tools.
  5. Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and address potential security breaches.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
  7. Provide guidance and support to development teams on secure coding practices and security best practices.
  8. Identify and prioritize security requirements for new and existing projects.
  9. Work closely with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure secure deployment and maintenance of digital products and services.
  10. Continuously improve and refine the DevSecOps processes and procedures to enhance overall security posture.
  11. Train and mentor team members on secure software development and DevOps principles.
  12. Communicate security risks and issues to relevant stakeholders and provide recommendations for resolution.
  13. Participate in incident response and disaster recovery activities.
  14. Collaborate with external security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the DevSecOps program and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Familiarity With Cloud Security: As Volvo Group Is Increasingly Moving Towards Cloud-Based Solutions, Having Hands-On Experience In Securing Cloud Environments, And Knowledge Of Cloud Security Best Practices Is Essential.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Devsecops Engineer Is Required To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Operations, And Security Teams. Hence, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Crucial For This Role.
