Responsible for development plans, identifying training, providing training and maintaining competence levels of business unit assembly personnel. Develop effective assembly teams based on MOST times, controlling resource allocation, vacation and absentee pools Responsible to maintain compliance with company policy and procedures, UAW contract and unit discipline, as required. Maintain effective communications with assembly operators, Business Unit Team members by departmental meetings, personal development and general two way information and communication meetings. Maintain health and safety for all business unit personnel by insuring proper work habits, use and maintenance of tools, equipment and housekeeping, related to assembly areas.
