  1. Accurately interpret parts information and availability for customers and service technicians.
  2. Communicate effectively with customers and service technicians to provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commercial vehicle parts and their functions.
  4. Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient and effective parts ordering and delivery processes.
  5. Utilize computer systems and software to track and manage parts inventory.
  6. Continuously monitor and analyze parts usage and inventory levels to identify potential issues and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving any parts-related issues or concerns.
  8. Follow established procedures and guidelines for parts ordering, returns, and exchanges.
  9. Maintain organized and accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels.
  10. Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while handling and storing parts.
  11. Train and mentor new team members on parts interpretation processes and procedures.
  12. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  13. Actively participate in meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new products and technologies.
  14. Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner at all times.

  • Knowledge Of Volvo Products And Parts: A Parts Interpreter Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Volvo's Products And Parts In Order To Accurately Identify And Fulfill Customer Needs.

  • Experience In The Automotive Industry: Previous Experience In The Automotive Industry, Particularly In A Parts Department, Is An Important Qualification For A Parts Interpreter At Volvo Group.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication With Customers, Suppliers, And Other Team Members Is Crucial For A Successful Parts Interpreter. This Includes Both Written And Verbal Communication Skills.

  • Attention To Detail: A Parts Interpreter Must Be Detail-Oriented In Order To Accurately Identify And Order The Correct Parts For Customers.

  • Ability To Use Computer Systems: The Use Of Computer Systems, Such As Inventory Management Software And Parts Catalogs, Is Essential In The Role Of A Parts Interpreter At Volvo Group. Candidates Should Have Strong Computer Skills And Be Able To Quickly Learn And Adapt To New Systems.
