  1. Perform regular maintenance and repair on HGV vehicles according to manufacturer's guidelines and industry standards.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on HGV vehicles.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections and identify potential problems that may affect vehicle performance.
  4. Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  5. Utilize technical knowledge and expertise to efficiently and effectively complete tasks.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  7. Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies in HGV maintenance and repair.
  9. Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet targets.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Hgv Mechanics: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Hgv Mechanics, Including Engine, Transmission, And Electrical Systems.

  • Relevant Technical Qualification: A Formal Qualification In Hgv Mechanics Or A Related Field Is Required For This Role. This Could Include A Degree In Automotive Engineering Or A Technical Certification From A Recognized Institution.

  • Experience In Hgv Repair And Maintenance: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Hgv Repair And Maintenance, Preferably In A Dealership Or Workshop Setting.

  • Strong Diagnostic Skills: The Ability To Diagnose And Troubleshoot Complex Issues With Hgvs Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Diagnostic Software And Tools.

  • Team Player With Excellent Communication Skills: As Part Of A Larger Team, The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively And Communicate Effectively With Other Technicians, Supervisors, And Customers. Good Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For This Role.
