- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with HGVs using specialized tools and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections of HGVs to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on HGVs.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on HGVs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and efficient use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continually improve skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote a safe and efficient workspace.

Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Relevant Experience Working As A Hgv Technician Is Required For This Position. This Should Include Experience In Diagnosing And Repairing Heavy Vehicles.
Technical Knowledge: Strong Technical Knowledge Of Hgv Systems, Engines, And Components Is Essential. This Includes Expertise In Electrical, Mechanical, And Hydraulics Systems.
Certifications: Candidates Must Hold A Relevant Certification Or Qualification In Hgv Maintenance And Repair. This Could Include Nvq Level 3 In Maintenance And Repair Of Heavy Vehicles Or Similar.
Attention To Detail: Hgv Technicians Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Accurately Diagnose And Troubleshoot Technical Issues. Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Ensuring The Safe And Efficient Operation Of Heavy Vehicles.
