- Design and develop wiring and harness systems for trucks, buses, construction equipment, and marine and industrial engines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration and compatibility of electrical systems with other vehicle components.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify innovative solutions for improving the performance and efficiency of wiring and harness systems.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams for wiring and harness systems.
- Perform testing and validation of wiring and harness systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to design, simulate, and optimize wiring and harness systems.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of existing wiring and harness systems and propose improvements for increased reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical and wiring technology to incorporate into product designs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality components for wiring and harness systems.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and projects while adhering to project timelines and budget.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during the design and development process.
- Contribute to the overall success of the company by actively participating in team meetings, sharing insights, and providing suggestions for improvement.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field With A Focus On Wiring And Harness Design.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Wiring And Harness Design For Automotive Or Heavy-Duty Vehicles.
Proficient In Cad Software Such As Autocad Or Catia For Creating Wiring Diagrams And Harness Layouts.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations For Wiring And Harness Design, Such As Iso 6722 And Sae J1939.
