- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts for commodities used in sustainable transport solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand commodity needs and develop sourcing strategies to meet business objectives.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and continuously seek out new suppliers to ensure a diverse and competitive supply base.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to anticipate potential supply chain challenges and proactively address them.
- Develop and maintain cost models to accurately track commodity prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Use data and analytics to identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure timely delivery of commodities by monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable procurement practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to sustainable transport solutions to inform purchasing decisions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities.
- Mentor and train junior team members to ensure a strong and knowledgeable procurement team.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Manage Supplier Relationships.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Preferably In The Automotive Or Manufacturing Industry.
Knowledge Of Commodity Market Trends And Pricing Strategies.
