- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of parts and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production needs and develop sourcing strategies.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure constant availability of critical parts and components to prevent disruptions in operations.
- Conduct thorough research and evaluation of potential new vendors to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of purchasing activities, including contracts, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in all purchasing activities.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and production, to ensure smooth and timely delivery of materials.
- Stay current on company products and processes to ensure accurate purchasing decisions.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on purchasing activities, performance metrics, and cost savings.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or disputes.
- Continuously monitor and track supplier performance and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company's values and standards in all interactions with suppliers and internal teams.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Purchasing Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.
Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Develop And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers.
Proficiency In Purchasing Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.
Knowledge Of Industry Trends And Market Conditions, As Well As Understanding Of Cost Analysis And Price Negotiation Strategies.
