- Develop and optimize advanced virtual manufacturing processes for Volvo Group's vehicles.
- Utilize engineering expertise to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions.
- Continuously monitor and analyze virtual manufacturing processes for improvements and cost savings.
- Communicate and present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in virtual manufacturing technology.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless integration of virtual manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during virtual manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all virtual manufacturing activities.
- Act as a mentor and coach to junior team members to help develop their skills and knowledge.
A Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Virtual Manufacturing Engineering, Preferably In The Automotive Industry.
Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Catia Or Siemens Nx, And Experience With Virtual Simulation Tools.
Strong Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes, Including Assembly, Welding, And Machining.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Technical Information Effectively.
