- Lead the implementation and maintenance of Dev Ops principles and practices within the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance development operations.
- Design and implement efficient and scalable systems and processes to support development and deployment activities.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and proactively identify and resolve any issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all Dev Ops processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Dev Ops trends and technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Act as a mentor and coach for junior Dev Ops Engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Work closely with software developers to ensure smooth integration of code changes and releases.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure the security and compliance of all Dev Ops processes and procedures.
- Proactively identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency and streamline processes.
- Continuously monitor and measure the effectiveness of Dev Ops processes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Take ownership of critical incidents and lead the resolution process.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production issues.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, from technical teams to senior leadership.

Extensive Experience In Software Development And Operations: A Sr. Dev Ops Engineer At Vodafone Should Possess A Strong Background In Both Software Development And Operations, With A Deep Understanding Of Coding, Testing, Deployment, And Monitoring Processes.
Proficiency In Automation And Scripting: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Is Skilled In Automation And Scripting Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef. They Should Also Have Experience With Configuration Management And Deployment Tools Like Jenkins Or Git.
Knowledge Of Cloud Technologies: As Vodafone Continues To Expand Its Cloud Infrastructure, A Sr. Dev Ops Engineer Should Be Well-Versed In Cloud Technologies Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform. They Should Have Experience With Infrastructure As Code And Be Able To Design And Maintain Cloud-Based Systems.
