As a Senior Infrastructure System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our VOIS (Vodafone Operating Infrastructure System) platform, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability.   1. Maintain and optimize the VOIS platform, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the VOIS platform.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to the VOIS platform.
  4. Regularly monitor and report on the performance of the VOIS platform.
  5. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the VOIS platform.
  6. Conduct regular audits and implement security measures to protect the VOIS platform from potential threats.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation for the VOIS platform, including standard operating procedures and technical specifications.
  8. Lead and mentor junior infrastructure engineers in the team.
  9. Work closely with vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.
  10. Participate in project planning and implementation for new infrastructure systems and upgrades.
  11. Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues before they impact the VOIS platform.
  12. Collaborate with the wider technology team to drive innovation and excellence in infrastructure systems.
  13. Provide technical expertise and support to other teams within the organization.
  14. Continuously review and improve processes and procedures related to the VOIS platform.
  15. Communicate and liaise with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Designing And Implementing Complex Infrastructure Systems, Including But Not Limited To, Server Virtualization, Storage Solutions, Network Architecture, And Disaster Recovery Strategies.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Server Operating Systems Such As Windows Server, Linux, And Unix, As Well As Experience With Scripting And Automation Tools.

  • Proven Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Technical Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner, With A Focus On Maintaining System Stability And Uptime.

  • Strong Project Management Skills And Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams To Successfully Deliver Infrastructure Projects And Initiatives.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders To Understand Business Needs And Deliver Solutions That Meet Those Requirements.
