- Manage and optimize the JIRA and Confluence platforms to support the business operations of Vodafone.
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of JIRA and Confluence to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead a team of JIRA and Confluence administrators to ensure smooth functioning of the platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions to improve the platforms.
- Develop and maintain documentation for JIRA and Confluence processes, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Train and support users on JIRA and Confluence functionalities to ensure effective utilization of the platforms.
- Stay updated on the latest features and updates of JIRA and Confluence and implement them as needed.
- Develop and implement security controls to protect the platforms and ensure data integrity.
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation within JIRA and Confluence.
- Manage user access and permissions to ensure data confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- Work with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide regular reports and updates on the performance of JIRA and Confluence to senior management.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate JIRA and Confluence with other systems and tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to JIRA and Confluence.
Extensive Experience With Jira And Confluence: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Hands-On Experience Working With Jira And Confluence In A Fast-Paced Corporate Environment. They Should Be Proficient In Configuring, Customizing, And Troubleshooting These Platforms To Meet The Needs Of Different Teams And Projects.
Strong Project Management Skills: As A Manager Lead Jira And Confluence Administrator, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Multiple Projects And Delegating Tasks To A Team Of Administrators. They Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Plan, Prioritize, And Manage Resources Effectively.
Technical Expertise: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Software Development Processes And Methodologies, As Well As Experience Working With Agile Methodologies. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Database Management, Server Administration, And Scripting Languages Like Javascript Or Python.
