Job Description

At VMware, we’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Technical Support Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have the technical expertise and the desire to learn and grow in the IT field. We’re looking for a professional with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and the ability to quickly become an integral part of our team.The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, resolving technical issues remotely, and providing technical support to our customers. You will work closely with our product teams as well as other members of the support team to ensure that our customers receive the best possible technical assistance.To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of networking concepts, be able to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and have a strong customer service orientation. In addition, you should possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field• At least two years of experience in technical support• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems• Experience with VMware products, such as ESXi, vCenter, and vRealize• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you’re looking to join a collaborative and innovative team and have the knowledge and experience to hit the ground running, we would love to hear from you!
