Site Reliability Engineer
We’re looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at VMware. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production systems are reliable, secure and stable. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and solutions for ongoing operational issues and ensure that all of our systems are running smoothly.We’re looking for a reliable, self-motivated, and technically savvy individual who is passionate about ensuring the availability and reliability of our systems. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of cloud technologies, automation and have excellent problem-solving skills.Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash, and experience with cloud management platforms such as AWS and Azure is also required.If you are a passionate engineer with a drive to solve complex problems, this is the job for you!

- Design, execute and maintain processes and systems that ensure the reliability, availability and security of our production systems.
- Develop strategies and solutions for identifying and addressing operational issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement automation solutions that improve the performance and reliability of our systems.
- Monitor and analyze system performance and create reports to track progress.
- Identify and troubleshoot system errors and outages.
- Develop tools and scripts to improve system performance and reliability.
- Utilize cloud management platforms such as AWS and Azure to manage systems.
