Visa, the world's leader in digital payments, is seeking a Senior Director of Global AI Governance to drive our AI governance strategy and ensure the ethical implementation of AI across our global operations.   1. Develop and implement global AI governance strategy for Visa, ensuring ethical and responsible use of AI across all operations.
  2. Lead and manage a cross-functional team of experts in AI governance, including data scientists, legal advisors, and business leaders.
  3. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to AI governance, and ensure Visa's policies and practices are in compliance.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product and technology teams, to incorporate ethical considerations into the design and development of AI solutions.
  5. Conduct regular audits and assessments of Visa's AI systems, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing corrective actions.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on AI governance, providing guidance and training to internal teams and external partners.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and experts in AI governance to stay informed on emerging trends and best practices.
  8. Represent Visa in industry forums and events to showcase our commitment to ethical AI practices.
  9. Communicate regularly with senior leadership on AI governance initiatives, including progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  10. Continuously evaluate and enhance Visa's AI governance framework to ensure it aligns with our values and meets evolving industry standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Ai Governance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Ai Governance Principles And Best Practices, With At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Ai Governance Frameworks.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Global Regulations And Standards: The Senior Director Should Possess A Comprehensive Understanding Of Global Regulations And Standards Related To Ai, Such As Gdpr, Ccpa, And Iso/Iec 27001, And Be Able To Effectively Navigate And Comply With Them.

  • Leadership And Strategic Thinking Skills: As A Senior Leader, The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Leadership Skills And A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Cross-Functional Teams And Driving Strategic Initiatives Related To Ai Governance.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Abilities: The Senior Director Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders, Including Senior Executives And Regulators.

  • Advanced Degree In A Related Field: A Master's Or Ph.d. Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Data Science, Or Law Would Be Preferred, Along With Relevant Certifications In Ai Ethics And Governance. This Educational Background Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Both Technical And Ethical Aspects Of Ai.
