- Provide legal support and guidance for Visa's global mergers and acquisitions and investment activities.
- Review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements related to M&A and investments.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for potential M&A and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Advise senior management on legal issues related to M&A and investments.
- Monitor and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to M&A and investments.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making for potential M&A and investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel, advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide training and guidance to junior legal team members on M&A and investment matters.

Extensive Experience In Mergers And Acquisitions: The Ideal Candidate For A Senior Counsel, M&A And Investments Job At Visa Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Mergers And Acquisitions, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Deal Structures, Valuation Methods, And Regulatory Requirements.
Legal Expertise In Corporate And Securities Law: The Role Of A Senior Counsel, M&A And Investments At Visa Requires In-Depth Knowledge Of Corporate And Securities Law. The Candidate Should Have A Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School, And Be Licensed To Practice Law In The Relevant Jurisdiction.
Strong Negotiation And Due Diligence Skills: As A Senior Counsel, M&A And Investments At Visa, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Negotiating And Executing Complex Transactions. They Should Have Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, As Well As Experience Conducting Due Diligence And Drafting Transaction Documents.
