Job Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Manager to lead our Global Privacy Office and ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations. As a Manager in this critical role, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and shape our privacy policies and procedures on a global scale.   1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the Global Privacy Office, including team members, projects, and operations.
  2. Develop and implement company-wide privacy policies and procedures in compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
  3. Stay up-to-date on changes in privacy laws and regulations globally and ensure the company's practices remain in compliance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess privacy risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  5. Communicate with senior leadership and other stakeholders on privacy-related matters and provide recommendations for improvement.
  6. Train employees on privacy policies and procedures and ensure awareness and understanding throughout the organization.
  7. Conduct privacy impact assessments and manage data protection impact assessments as needed.
  8. Oversee the handling of data subject requests and ensure timely and accurate responses.
  9. Monitor and respond to privacy incidents and breaches according to established protocols.
  10. Foster a culture of privacy awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
  11. Manage relationships with external privacy consultants and vendors.
  12. Drive continuous improvement in privacy practices and procedures.
  13. Represent the company in privacy-related forums and conferences.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on privacy matters for internal and external inquiries.
  15. Keep detailed records and reports on privacy-related activities and compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Global Privacy Laws And Regulations: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Global Privacy Laws And Regulations, Including Gdpr, Ccpa, And Other Regional Data Protection Laws.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Privacy Policies And Procedures: The Manager Of Global Privacy Office Should Have A Track Record Of Creating And Implementing Effective Privacy Policies And Procedures At A Global Level.

  • Strong Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: As The Primary Point Of Contact For Privacy-Related Matters, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills To Effectively Engage With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Experience In Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments: The Manager Of Global Privacy Office Should Have Experience In Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (Pias) To Identify And Mitigate Potential Privacy Risks Across The Organization.

  • Ability To Lead And Manage A Team: This Role Involves Managing A Team Of Privacy Professionals, So The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Motivating A Team To Achieve Common Goals And Objectives.
