1. Develop and implement Visa's global privacy program, in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
2. Lead and manage a team of privacy experts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure a high-performing and cohesive team.
3. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of global privacy laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on any changes or updates that may impact Visa.
4. Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into all business processes, products, and services.
5. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on privacy-related matters.
6. Conduct privacy risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address potential privacy risks.
7. Serve as the primary point of contact for privacy-related inquiries, both internally and externally.
8. Oversee the development and delivery of privacy training programs to educate employees on privacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
9. Monitor and report on compliance with privacy laws and regulations, identifying any areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
10. Foster a culture of privacy and data protection across the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of privacy principles and best practices.
11. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure privacy requirements are incorporated into contracts and agreements with third-party vendors and partners.
12. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in privacy management, and drive continuous improvement and innovation within the privacy program.
13. Represent Visa in privacy-related forums and conferences, building relationships with industry peers and staying informed on emerging privacy issues.
14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
