- Develop and implement Visa's global strategy for engaging and managing key B2B suppliers.
- Identify and evaluate potential B2B suppliers to support Visa's business objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with key B2B suppliers to ensure successful partnerships and ongoing collaboration.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions for Visa.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supplier management strategies with overall business goals.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments to inform Visa's supplier management approach.
- Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts and attend relevant events to expand supplier relationships.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team responsible for managing B2B suppliers.
- Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the success of Visa's supplier management strategies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with B2B supplier relationships.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on supplier management initiatives and strategies.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within Visa's supplier management processes.
- Manage and optimize the budget allocated for B2B supplier management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of supplier management initiatives.
Extensive Experience In B2B Supplier Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Strategic Supplier Relationships In A B2B Context. This Includes Negotiating Contracts, Establishing Performance Metrics, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of Goods And Services.
Strong Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: A Director Of Strategic B2B Suppliers At Visa Must Be Able To Think Strategically And Anticipate Potential Challenges Or Opportunities In The Supplier Landscape. They Should Be Able To Identify Innovative Solutions And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Drive Business Growth.
Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Abilities: As A Key Point Of Contact Between Visa And Its B2B Suppliers, The Director Should Possess Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Includes The Ability To Build And Maintain Strong Relationships With Suppliers At All Levels, As Well As Effectively Communicate With Internal Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Financial And Procurement Processes: The Director Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Financial And Procurement Processes, Including Budget Management, Forecasting, And Risk Management. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry Best Practices And Compliance Requirements Related To Supplier Management.
Leadership And Team Management Experience: This Role Requires A Strong Leader Who Can Effectively Manage A Team Of Supplier Relationship Managers And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
