  1. Develop and lead the overall corporate development and M&A strategy for Visa, in alignment with the company's business objectives and growth targets.
  2. Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities.
  3. Evaluate potential M&A opportunities and develop financial models to assess the financial viability and return on investment.
  4. Lead and manage the end-to-end M&A process, including due diligence, negotiations, and integration planning.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure successful execution and integration of M&A transactions.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners and target companies, to facilitate deal sourcing and negotiate favorable terms.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and developments to identify potential opportunities for strategic partnerships and investments.
  8. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential M&A opportunities and regularly report to senior leadership on progress and results.
  9. Communicate and present M&A plans and progress to stakeholders, including executive management and the board of directors.
  10. Provide leadership and direction to the corporate development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  11. Monitor and analyze the performance of completed transactions to measure their impact on business growth and identify areas for improvement.
  12. Remain compliant with all regulatory requirements and ensure all M&A transactions are conducted in adherence to all legal and ethical standards.
  13. Identify and implement best practices and processes to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the corporate development and M&A function.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador for Visa, representing the company in a professional and positive manner to external parties and stakeholders.
  15. Continuously assess and adjust the corporate development and M&A strategy to stay aligned with the company's evolving business needs and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Corporate Development And M&A: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Corporate Development Or M&A Roles, Preferably Within The Financial Services Industry. They Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Executing Large-Scale M&A Deals And Driving The Corporate Development Strategy.

  • Strong Financial Acumen: As The Director Of Corporate Development And M&A, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Evaluating Potential Acquisition Targets And Conducting Financial Analysis To Assess Their Viability. Therefore, They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Financial Concepts And Be Able To Interpret Financial Statements And Models.

  • Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Director Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills And Be Able To Provide Valuable Insights And Recommendations For Potential M&A Opportunities. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of The Business Landscape, Including Market Trends, Competitors, And Industry Dynamics.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Internal Stakeholders, Potential Acquisition Targets, And External Advisors. The Ideal Candidate Should Be A Confident Negotiator And Be Able To Build Strong Relationships With Key Stakeholders.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: As A Senior Leadership Position, The Director Should Have Experience Managing And Leading A Team. They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members, Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Foster A Collaborative And Inclusive Work Environment.
