Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our Vesuvius team. Our ideal candidate is a creative and organized individual with excellent communication and writing skills. We need someone who can create, edit, and publish technical documents in support of Vesuvius’ products and services. The Technical Writer must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and must be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as English, Journalism, or Technical Writing, and a minimum of three years of experience in a technical writing role. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working with engineering and product teams. The Technical Writer must have the ability to quickly comprehend complex technical concepts, as well as being able to communicate those concepts in a clear and concise manner.At Vesuvius, we are committed to creating a team-focused and collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and publish technical documents in support of Vesuvius’ products and services.
Work both independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
Quickly comprehend complex technical concepts and communicate them in a clear and concise manner.
Develop quality technical content.
Keep up with current trends and developments in the field of technical writing.
Maintain accurate records of research and documents created.
Ensure that all technical documents meet company standards.
Work with engineering and product teams to ensure accuracy of content.
Ensure that all technical writing is delivered on time and within budget.
Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on content.
