Supply Chain Analyst

Vesuvius is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and organized Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services within the supply chain. You will be expected to analyze and identify ways to reduce supply chain costs, develop and monitor key performance indicators, and ensure effective procurement processes. The ideal candidate for this role must possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a deep understanding of supply chain and logistics principles. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and monitor key performance indicators to ensure smooth and efficient flow of goods and services in the supply chain.
2. Analyze supply chain costs and identify ways to reduce them.
3. Maintain and update supply chain data in order to optimize procurement processes.
4. Stay up to date with industry trends and make recommendations for supply chain improvements.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
6. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when necessary.
7. Prepare reports and present findings to the Supply Chain Manager.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve any supply chain issues in a timely manner.
9. Assist in creating and implementing supply chain strategies.
