Job Description

Vesuvius is looking for a passionate, creative, and results-oriented Research and Development Scientist to join our highly talented team. We have an exciting opportunity for you to make revolutionary advancements in the field of product development and testing.As a Research and Development Scientist, you will be responsible for researching and developing new products, as well as optimizing existing products to exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team and be involved in all aspects of the product development lifecycle.The ideal candidate will have a PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science, as well as at least 3 years of experience in a research and development role. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a passion for discovery and innovation. Responsibilities:

Research and develop new products and optimize existing products to exceed customer needs.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team and be involved in all aspects of the product development lifecycle.
Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address any issues that arise throughout the R&D process.
Prepare accurate reports and presentations to document results and progress.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry and new technologies to ensure that products are up-to-date and competitive.
Ensure that all products meet company and industry safety and quality standards.
Proactively brainstorm new ideas and innovative approaches to product development.
Take ownership of projects from conception to completion.
