Vesuvius is a leading global engineering company and we are looking for a skilled professional to join our team in the Procurement Department. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the purchasing and sourcing process as well as a passion for finding creative solutions.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Procurement role. In addition to this, the successful candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. You must have a proven track record of being able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing and sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement.
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and vendors.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases and contracts.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations related to procurement.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and develop relationships with key suppliers.
Manage vendor selection process and develop relationships with new suppliers.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for cost savings.
Analyze and report on purchasing trends and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and manage effective supplier relationships to ensure best value.
Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient procurement processes.
