Job Description

Vesuvius is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Metallurgical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving metallurgical processes in order to optimize the performance of our products. You will be working alongside our production and research teams to ensure that our products meet customer requirements.To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, as well as at least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment. You should also have a detailed understanding of metallurgical processes and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems. Responsibilities:

Develop, evaluate, and improve metallurgical processes to optimize product performance
Work with production and research teams to ensure customer requirements are met
Possess detailed understanding of metallurgical processes and troubleshoot and solve complex problems
Utilize excellent communication and analytical skills
Work independently and as part of a team
Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices
Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
Monitor and maintain production and product quality
Prepare and present project reports and progress updates
Analyze data and provide feedback to management on process performance
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
