
Metallurgical Engineer
Vesuvius is seeking an experienced Metallurgical Engineer to join our team and help us to continue to be industry leaders in the metallurgy field. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, highly organized, and passionate about advancing their engineering career.The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Metallurgical Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in the field, as well as strong knowledge of furnace operations and process engineering principles. This individual should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other members of the team. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to think critically and creatively when faced with challenges. Responsibilities: • Plan and execute metallurgical processes and tests to ensure quality control standards are met • Develop and maintain procedures and processes for refining metals • Analyze metallurgical data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions • Monitor furnace operations to ensure safety and efficiency • Develop and maintain quality control standards for furnace operations • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards • Collaborate with other members of the team to develop and implement cost-effective solutions • Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues • Research and develop new technologies and techniques to improve metallurgical processes • Monitor metallurgical operations to ensure products meet customer specifications and requirements • Prepare reports and presentations on metallurgical processes and results
