Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Metallurgical Engineer to join the Vesuvius team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing and maintaining metallurgical processes to ensure high-quality products and help reduce costs. You will also play a key role in developing new materials, processes and technologies.To succeed in this position, you should possess a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and metallurgical principles, as well as highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize and maintain metallurgical processes to ensure high-quality products and reduce costs
Research and develop new materials, processes and technologies
Utilize engineering fundamentals and metallurgical principles to drive innovative solutions
Analyze and solve complex problems
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and product development
Monitor and document progress of projects

Msc. Or Ph.d. In Metallurgical/Materials Engineering
Knowledge Of Metallurgical Theory
Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Metallurgical Problems
Experience With Heat Treatments And Casting Processes
Knowledge Of Mechanical Testing And Analysis Techniques
Proficient In Metallographic And Microstructural Testing
Ability To Read And Interpret Engineering Drawings And Specifications
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills
