Vesuvius is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Metallurgical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our company. As a Metallurgical Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and improving existing metallurgical processes, as well as researching and developing new technologies. We are looking for someone who has excellent technical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in the field is preferred, but not required. You should be familiar with current metallurgical technologies and have strong analytical and communication skills. Additionally, you should have the ability to think critically and solve complex problems. Responsibilities: -Develop and improve existing metallurgical processes -Research and develop new technologies -Analyze and evaluate metallurgical data -Develop and implement quality control standards -Conduct experiments to test metallurgical processes and products -Provide technical guidance and support to other teams -Design and implement metallurgical processes for new products -Stay up to date on the latest metallurgical technologies -Maintain records of experiments and results -Evaluate the cost and performance of metallurgical processes and products -Ensure all metallurgical processes are safe and compliant with industry regulations -Provide technical and metallurgical training to staff -Conduct safety inspections of metallurgical equipment
