Continuous Improvement Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist to join the team at Vesuvius. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our organization, helping us to ensure our products and services remain at the industry standard. The individual should have a keen eye for detail and a drive to make improvements.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another related field, as well as at least two years of experience in a continuous improvement role. They should possess a strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement frameworks and have the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and evaluate processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
2. Develop and implement process improvement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
3. Monitor progress of improvement initiatives and report on results.
4. Develop and document operational processes and procedures.
5. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement frameworks to create a continuous improvement culture.
6. Train and mentor team members in improvement strategies and techniques.
7. Collaborate with departments and teams to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions, and monitor results.
8. Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
9. Develop and implement performance metrics to measure effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
10. Provide advice and guidance to senior management on best practices and improvement strategies.
