Stock Controller

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Stock Controller to join the Versace team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for detail and accuracy, and will be able to maintain stock levels, implement efficient processes and oversee inventory. The Stock Controller will have a proactive approach to their work, and will be able to drive a culture of continuous improvement.Qualifications:• Proven track record in a similar role in a fashion retail environment• Excellent understanding of stock control processes and stock management principles• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• High level of accuracy and attention to detail• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel• Good knowledge of stock management software• Knowledge of health and safety regulations• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines• Ability to lift and carry heavy items

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate stock counts and stock levels are maintained • Monitor stock levels and order new stock when required • Develop and implement efficient processes to improve stock management • Monitor stock movement and manage stock discrepancies • Analyze data to identify trends and propose solutions to improve stock control • Maintain stock records and ensure accuracy of data entry • Monitor and order stock in accordance with customer demand • Oversee stock storage and ensure safety regulations are followed • Liaise with suppliers to coordinate deliveries • Maintain effective communication with the team and other departments • Provide customer service and support to customers when needed • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of stock management software • Assist with other tasks as and when required.
