Job Description

The Solutions Specialist (SS) is a member of the professional services delivery team providing technical delivery of the Veritas NetBackup solution set including HA appliances, installed and operating throughout the entire Veritas customer base. This role will work within project teams through a structured method of solution Planning, Design, Implementation, and Operationalizing Veritas NetBackup and related Veritas products in on-premises data center as well has hybrid-cloud solutions.

Job Qualifications

  • 5-8 years’ experience with NetBackup, including Versions 7.x and 8.x

  • Ability to work with architects and project managers related to tasks for server software and/or appliance-based deployments

  • Experience in NetBackup Cloud Catalyst and NBU 8.x & 9.0 versions

  • Experience in Oracle /SQL databases and ESX virtual infrastructure data protection procedures
