Associate Corporate Counsel
Veritas Technologies is looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative Associate Corporate Counsel to join our team. In this role, you will provide legal support and advice to our business teams and assist with a wide range of legal matters.To be successful in this role, you must have a Juris Doctorate degree, a strong working knowledge of corporate law, and at least five years of relevant experience in a corporate legal department, preferably in the technology or software industry. You must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively explain complex legal concepts to executives, managers, and other stakeholders.As an Associate Corporate Counsel at Veritas Technologies, you will be an integral part of a legal team that helps ensure the success of our business. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and advice to all business teams.
- Assist with a wide range of legal matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal regulations.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Draft, review and negotiate corporate legal documents.
- Advise on corporate governance and risk management strategies.
- Represent the company in legal disputes.
- Research legal issues and provide guidance to internal teams.
- Effectively explain complex legal concepts to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance.
