  1. Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of Vanguard's software products and services.
  2. Design and implement automated testing processes to streamline testing and increase efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with developers to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
  4. Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance the overall quality of Vanguard's software.
  5. Conduct thorough analysis of software requirements and technical specifications to ensure test coverage.
  6. Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues and provide feedback.
  7. Utilize various testing tools and techniques to identify and report software bugs.
  8. Communicate test results and any issues found to the development team and other stakeholders.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and automation.
  10. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  11. Mentor and train junior team members on testing processes and techniques.
  12. Take ownership of testing tasks and ensure they are completed within the designated timelines.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Development: A Strong Candidate For A Software Development Engineer In Testing Job At Vanguard Should Have A Solid Background In Software Development, With A Deep Understanding Of Programming Languages And Software Design Principles.

  • Expertise In Testing Methodologies And Tools: As A Software Development Engineer In Testing, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Developing And Executing Test Plans, Automating Tests, And Finding And Reporting Bugs. Therefore, Proficiency In Various Testing Methodologies And Tools Such As Selenium, Jmeter, And Cucumber Is Essential.
