Job Description

As a Senior UX Writer, you will play a crucial role in achieving this goal by crafting clear, concise, and user-friendly language for our digital products. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced writer with a strong understanding of UX principles to join our team.   1. Create and maintain a consistent and engaging tone of voice across all digital products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to ensure that the user experience is reflected in all written content.
  3. Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the company’s overall UX goals.
  4. Conduct user research and gather feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of written content.
  5. Write clear and concise user interface text, including labels, calls to action, and error messages.
  6. Edit and proofread all written content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging best practices in UX writing.
  8. Train and mentor junior writers on UX principles and best practices.
  9. Work closely with localization teams to ensure that written content is culturally appropriate and localized for different markets.
  10. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that all written content is compliant with regulations and policies.
  11. Use data and analytics to track the impact of written content on user engagement and make data-driven decisions for improvements.
  12. Continuously research and implement new tools and techniques to enhance the UX writing process.
  13. Contribute to the development and maintenance of style guides, voice and tone guidelines, and other UX writing resources.
  14. Act as an advocate for user-centered design and the importance of UX writing within the organization.
  15. Participate in cross-functional meetings and stakeholder discussions to provide input and insights on UX writing strategies and decisions.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In User Experience Writing: A Senior Ux Writer At Vanguard Should Have A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Their Experience In Writing For User Interfaces, Website Content, And Other Digital Platforms. They Should Also Have Experience In Conducting User Research And Incorporating User Feedback Into Their Writing.

  • Strong Understanding Of Ux Principles And Best Practices: As A Senior Ux Writer, The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of User Experience Design Principles And How They Apply To Different Platforms And Products. This Includes Knowledge Of Usability, Accessibility, And User-Centered Design.

  • Exceptional Writing And Communication Skills: The Role Of A Senior Ux Writer At Vanguard Requires Excellent Writing Skills, With The Ability To Write Clear, Concise, And Engaging Content For A Variety Of Audiences. They Should Also Have Strong Communication Skills To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Their Work Effectively.

  • Proficiency In Design And Prototyping Tools: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Design And Prototyping Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Or Sketch. This Will Allow Them To Work Closely With Designers And Developers To Create Seamless User Experiences.

  • Familiarity With Financial Services Industry: Vanguard Is A Financial Services Company, So A Senior Ux Writer Should Have Some Knowledge And Understanding Of The Industry. This Includes An Understanding Of Financial Terminology, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements. Previous Experience In The Financial Services Industry Is A Plus.
