Senior Technical Project Manager

Vanguard is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Product & Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for managing complex technical projects and have the ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish. We are looking for an individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. The Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for driving the successful completion of projects, making sure that all stakeholders’ expectations are met and that the client’s needs are addressed.To be successful in this role, you should have:• At least 5 years of experience in a technical project management role • Experience in managing projects with high complexity • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Working knowledge of project management software • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets to ensure successful delivery of projects.
2. Lead the execution of projects from start to finish and ensure that all stakeholders’ expectations are met and that the client’s needs are addressed.
3. Coordinate with the technical team and other stakeholders to ensure that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
4. Monitor and review the progress of projects to ensure that they are on track and that any changes are communicated to the team.
5. Identify risks and issues associated with the project and take the necessary steps to mitigate them.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
7. Use project management software (e.g. JIRA, Trello, Asana) to manage projects and track progress.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest project management methodologies and best practices.
9. Prepare status reports and other documents related to the project.
10. Provide guidance and support to team members.
