- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.

- Lead and manage security projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget.
- Train and educate employees on security protocols and procedures to promote a culture of security awareness.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to junior security team members.
- Proactively monitor and respond to security incidents and participate in incident response activities.
- Communicate security risks, incidents, and remediation efforts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure the security of third-party systems and data.
- Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory and legal requirements are met.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance the company's security posture.
- Conduct research and analysis on emerging security threats and provide recommendations on how to address them.
Extensive Experience In Cybersecurity: A Senior Security Architect At Vanguard Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles, Tools, And Technologies. They Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Field And A Proven Track Record Of Implementing Successful Security Strategies.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: As A Financial Services Company, Vanguard Is Subject To Various Industry Regulations And Standards. A Senior Security Architect Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Regulations And Be Able To Ensure Compliance Throughout The Organization.

A Senior Security Architect Must Have Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Guide And Motivate Their Team Towards Achieving The Company's Security Goals.
