Senior Manager, Data Engineering

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and motivate a remote engineering team in the development and improvement of data infrastructure and services.
2. Analyze customer requirements and develop data engineering solutions.
3. Manage software engineering and development projects.
4. Evaluate cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure and data engineering tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and/or Apache Kafka for data engineering solutions.
5. Design and implement data warehouses and big data architectures.
6. Monitor the performance of data engineering solutions and identify areas for improvement.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data engineering principles and technologies.
8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and the team.
9. Ensure the highest quality of data engineering solutions.
10. Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering projects.
