  1. Lead and manage the delivery of innovative technology solutions that align with Vanguard's overall business goals and objectives.
  2. Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for technology delivery, identifying key milestones and priorities.
  3. Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within allocated resources.
  4. Provide direction and guidance to the IT delivery team, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to identify and understand project requirements.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  7. Conduct regular project status updates and provide timely and accurate reporting to senior management.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, and make recommendations for process and system improvements.
  9. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
  10. Monitor project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  11. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT delivery team.
  13. Act as a liaison between IT and other departments, promoting collaboration and alignment.
  14. Advocate for the use of new technologies and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
  15. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the financial industry.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Project And Program Management: A Senior It Delivery Manager At Vanguard Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Projects And Programs, Ideally Within The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager At Vanguard, The It Delivery Manager Must Be Able To Effectively Lead And Motivate Teams To Achieve Project Objectives, As Well As Provide Guidance And Mentorship To More Junior Team Members.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Technology And Systems: The Role Of A Senior It Delivery Manager At Vanguard Requires A Deep Understanding Of Various Technologies And Systems, Including Software Development Methodologies, Infrastructure, And Data Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Is Crucial In This Role. A Senior It Delivery Manager Should Be Able To Clearly Articulate Project Status, Risks, And Issues To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
