Vanguard is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Compliance Director – Compliance Risk Monitoring to join our Compliance team. This critical role will lead the risk monitoring program and be responsible for assessing and mitigating Vanguard’s compliance risk. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence.To be successful in this role, the Senior Compliance Director – Compliance Risk Monitoring must have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in a compliance, audit, or risk management position within the financial services industry. The candidate must also possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably in Risk Management, Finance, Compliance, or Law. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team and help ensure that Vanguard continues to provide the best service to our clients.

Responsibilities of the Senior Compliance Director – Compliance Risk Monitoring:

  1. Lead the risk monitoring program and assess and mitigate Vanguard’s compliance risk.
  2. Develop strategic plans and processes to ensure that Vanguard maintains compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and standards.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with business partners, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure that the risk monitoring program meets their expectations.
  4. Monitor and report on the progress of the risk monitoring program.
  5. Analyze and review new and existing compliance risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  6. Identify trends in risk and provide recommendations for risk remediation.
  7. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  8. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training to support the risk monitoring program.
  9. Assist in the development of the annual compliance plan.
  10. Provide guidance and support to the compliance team.
