  1. Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Azure platform.
  2. Design and implement automation processes for deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications on the cloud.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop efficient solutions.
  4. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot server and application performance in the cloud environment.
  6. Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and industry standards.
  7. Research and evaluate new cloud technologies to continuously improve our DevOps processes.
  8. Mentor and train junior team members on DevOps best practices and Azure technologies.
  9. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges related to the cloud environment.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and any potential risks or delays.
  11. Develop and maintain documentation for all cloud infrastructure and processes.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for any cloud related incidents.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cloud technology to provide recommendations for improvement.
  14. Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed for cloud-related projects.
  15. Continuously analyze and optimize cloud costs to ensure efficient resource allocation.

Job Qualifications

  • Expertise In Azure Cloud Services: A Senior Cloud Devops Engineer At Vanguard Must Possess A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Azure Cloud Services, Including Compute, Storage, Networking, And Security.

  • Strong Devops Background: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Devops Methodologies, Including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, And Automation. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, Chef, And Jenkins.

  • Experience With Infrastructure As Code: The Role Requires Proficiency In Scripting And Coding Languages Such As Powershell, Python, And Json To Build And Manage Infrastructure As Code. Familiarity With Terraform And Arm Templates Is Also Highly Desirable.

  • Knowledge Of Monitoring And Logging Tools: A Senior Cloud Devops Engineer Must Have Experience With Monitoring And Logging Tools Such As Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, And Application Insights To Ensure The Availability, Performance, And Security Of Cloud Services.

  • Leadership And Communication Skills: This Is A Senior-Level Position That Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Guide And Mentor Junior Team Members. Excellent Communication Skills Are Also Essential For Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams And Presenting Technical Solutions To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
