Job Description

At Vanguard, we are seeking a Quantitative Researcher to join our team and help us drive our continued success. This individual will work closely with our team of analysts and research associates, leveraging their expertise to create thoughtful and innovative solutions. We are looking for a creative problem-solver with strong quantitative skills and a passion for the financial services industry.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics. In addition, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a quantitative research role within the financial industry. Proficiency in software such as MATLAB, SAS, or STATA is also required. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also necessary. We are looking for someone who can bring their unique skills and experience to the table and contribute to the continued growth and success of our company. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop innovative quantitative solutions for the financial services industry
  2. Utilize strong quantitative skills and software such as MATLAB, SAS, or STATA to analyze data sets
  3. Work closely with a team of analysts and research associates to drive success
  4. Develop models and perform complex analysis that is used to inform business decisions
  5. Collaborate with other professionals in the financial industry
  6. Keep up-to-date on industry trends and research
  7. Prepare and present reports and presentations on research findings
  8. Identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions
  9. Maintain a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
  10. Work independently and as part of a team
