
Quantitative Researcher
Vanguard is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Quantitative Researcher to join our team. At Vanguard, we understand that a great researcher is the cornerstone of any successful investment organization. Our ideal candidate will be a quantitative specialist with a passion for financial markets who is able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.The Quantitative Researcher will be responsible for developing and executing quantitative models and strategies to support the investment decisions of our clients. This individual must be able to work with large and complex data sets, analyze market conditions and trends, and develop custom algorithms and strategies to make the most informed investment decisions possible.The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics. In addition, the ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of financial markets and quantitative techniques. Previous experience working with scripting languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB is strongly preferred. The ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment is also essential.
