Job Description

At Vanguard, we’re looking for a talented Quality Assurance Engineer with a passion for testing and a dedication to delivering software of the highest quality. As a QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in software engineering, with experience in manual and automated testing. You must have a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle and a passion for ensuring the highest quality products. In addition, we’re looking for someone with strong problem solving skills and a keen attention to detail.If you’re a motivated self-starter with a strong technical background and a passion for quality assurance, this is the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure quality and performance of software products.
  2. Analyze and troubleshoot defects in software products.
  3. Monitor and report on progress of testing activities.
  4. Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  5. Document and report on software defects or issues.
  6. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.
  7. Assist in evaluating and recommending new testing tools and techniques.
  8. Support software development life cycle activities, including requirements gathering, design, coding, and deployment.
  9. Adhere to established coding standards and best practices.
  10. Collaborate with software development teams to ensure quality and performance of software products.
