  1. Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, organizations, and businesses to secure donations and support for Vanguard's philanthropic efforts.
  2. Identify potential funding opportunities and create strategies to effectively solicit donations from various sources.
  3. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement fundraising campaigns and events to raise awareness and support for Vanguard's philanthropic mission.
  4. Conduct research and stay updated on current trends and best practices in philanthropy to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  5. Build and maintain a database of donors and their giving history, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  6. Develop and manage a budget for philanthropic initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  7. Work closely with other departments within Vanguard to identify areas of need and develop targeted philanthropic initiatives to address those needs.
  8. Communicate regularly with donors to cultivate relationships and provide updates on the impact of their contributions.
  9. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure proper tracking and reporting of all philanthropic donations and expenses.
  10. Represent Vanguard at community events and networking opportunities to promote the organization's philanthropic efforts and build relationships with potential donors.
  11. Stay informed on local, national, and global issues and trends related to philanthropy and identify potential opportunities for Vanguard to make a positive impact.
  12. Continuously evaluate and adjust strategies and approaches to maximize the impact of Vanguard's philanthropic efforts.
  13. Adhere to ethical standards and regulations related to philanthropy and ensure all fundraising practices are in compliance with legal requirements.
  14. Provide training and support to other team members and volunteers involved in philanthropic initiatives at Vanguard.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, embodying the values and mission of Vanguard in all interactions with donors, colleagues, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Philanthropy, Nonprofit Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Philanthropy, Fundraising, Or Nonprofit Management.

  • Knowledge Of And Experience With Current Philanthropic Trends And Best Practices.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Donors, Nonprofit Organizations, And Colleagues.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Successful Fundraising Strategies, Including Major Gift Solicitation, Donor Stewardship, And Grant Writing.
