Vanguard is looking for an experienced and motivated Manager, IT Delivery to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team of developers and engineers in delivering software solutions to the business. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery goals are met on time and within budget.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, as well as 5+ years of experience in IT delivery management. You must have excellent communication, problem solving, and project management skills. You must also be able to provide technical direction, lead and motivate a team, and establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.If you are organized, have a strategic mindset, and are passionate about software delivery, then this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of developers and engineers in delivering software solutions to the business.
- Ensure delivery goals are met on time and within budget.
- Provide technical direction, lead and motivate a team.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Proactively identify potential risks and create mitigation plans.
- Develop and manage project plans and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Create and manage budget estimates and track spend against those estimates.
- Monitor and report on team performance.
- Implement process improvements to increase delivery efficiencies.
