Legal Counsel

Vanguard is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and the knowledge and experience to provide high-level legal guidance to the organization.The successful candidate will have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and a minimum of 5 years of legal experience. The candidate must also be licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania, or be willing to become licensed in the state. We are looking for an individual who is able to think strategically, analyze complex legal and business issues, and provide sound advice to the business. The successful candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders and provide counsel in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal guidance to Vanguard and its stakeholders in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Analyze complex legal and business issues, and provide sound advice to the business.
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure legal compliance.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and licenses.
5. Research and stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations, including those related to intellectual property, labor, and data privacy.
6. Monitor legal developments and provide updates and advice to the organization.
7. Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the organization’s interests.
8. Represent the organization in legal proceedings and meetings.
9. Provide training and guidance to staff on legal topics.
10. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
