Lead Cloud Security Engineer (Auth0)

Vanguard is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Cloud Security Engineer (Auth0) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the technical expertise and skills to lead the design and implementation of cloud security strategies, policies and procedures for Auth0. Our Lead Cloud Security Engineer must be a self-starter with an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.To be successful in this role, the Lead Cloud Security Engineer must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on Auth0. The candidate should also have expertise in vulnerability management, threat modeling, incident response, and security standards and protocols. Experience developing and implementing security best practices and processes is also required. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and implementation of cloud security strategies, policies and procedures for Auth0.
2. Develop and implement security best practices, processes, and procedures.
3. Monitor and analyze system logs to identify, report, and resolve security incidents.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cloud security threats and vulnerabilities.
5. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to cloud security.
6. Design and implement security solutions for Auth0 applications.
7. Work closely with the IT team to ensure all security requirements are met.
8. Perform vulnerability and penetration testing of Auth0 applications.
9. Manage security incidents and respond to security alerts.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.
11. Research and recommend security tools and products.
